Vintner's Inn-Santa Rosa, CA

So far this venue has been excellent to deal with. Cathy has gotten right back to me when I have emailed with questions. We're also using their day of coordinator.
Update: No major flubs with VI. Although, had a couple of emails with one of us being addressed with the wrong name. Too many weddings this season? Lindsay was awesome the week and day of the wedding. Up till then there had been a few miscommunications, but everything worked out well in the end.

John Ash and Co.-Santa Rosa, CA

We had dinner here on Valentine's Day last year. It was the meal that sealed the deal. Hopefully our wedding food will be just as yummy!

Fleurs de France-Santa Rosa, CA

The proprietor was a bit hard to get a hold of at first, but once we spoke ideas started flowing nicely. We'll meet with her in March to go over final details. She comes with very good references
Update: Jessica and her team totally came through. The flowers and centerpieces were gorgeous. HIghly reccomend this vendor!

Patisserie Angelica-Sebastapool, CA

All the reviews I have seen on this bakery are awesome. She is contracted with our venue. Hopefully our cake turns out as beautiful and delicious as the ones on her website!
Update: Go with very basic colors. There had been a review from another bride about PA not getting their cake colors correct. Well, we had the same problem and we sent them a swatch from the bridesmaid's dresses. The cake ended up being lavender with light pink flowers on top. Not even close to the original colors and even some of the design was off...Their cakes taste very good, just make sure to call them a week before to make sure you get exactly what you want when it comes to the design of your cake.

Eloquence String Quartet-Napa, CA

Peggy was very quick to get back to me. This group has a great website and comes highly recommended.
Update: Wow! So professional and talented. Guests were very impressed by their variety of music and how they blended into the background. 100% reccomend!

JS Makeup Artistry-Santa Rosa, CA

So far they have been great to work with. Our main makeup artist will be Veronica on the day of. I will also be doing my hair and makeup preview with her in March. Can not say enough good things about Veronica and her sister Kelsay. Everyone looked amazing and their looks lasted for hours and hours.

Sonoma Tanning

I am a pale redhead with freckles and was very hesitant to spray tan without having done it before. Kelly (the owner) made me feel very comfortable. The tan came out very natural and highlighted all the work I had put in at the gym. Highly reccomend this company for an airbrush spray tan. My mom even tried it out!

Mary Linn's Couture- Santa Barbara, CA

I ended up buying my dress in Santa Barbara, because it is close to where my parents live.
The day I bought the dress I spent most of the hour long appointment with the manager. She was great and super enthusiastic. Hopefully my fittings will go well too!

Alterations- Angie Cavallaro- Fairfax, VA

Angie is such a sweetheart. She made me completely comfortable through all the fittings and did an amazing job on my dress. The hem of the dress had a lot of detailed beading and lace, that she had to completely redo in order to get the hem right. Her prices was 1/2 that of the flat fee at MaryLinn's...HIGHLY reccomend Angie!

Xsight Photography-Sacramento, CA

Photobooth Royale-Emeryville, CA

The owner was very quick to get back to me. We've put down our deposit and are so excited about having a photobooth at our wedding!
Update: This is SOOOO much better than any "wedding favor" you could give your guests. Even better is the guest book that you get at the end of the night. We got great pictures and messages from friends and family.

Wine Country Hilton-Santa Rosa, CA

We've booked a block of rooms here and will also be staying here up until the day of the wedding. It has okay reviews and the price is right.
Update: This worked out very well for us. The only complaint was that our room keys would get demagnitized very easily. Other than that, The Hilton was very accomdating, and even gave passes to non-hotel guests (our wedding guests) to park at the Hilton in order to take the shuttle to the wedding .
