Andrew and Elisha had planned to take a trip to CA to surprise a friend for her birthday. Elisha thought she was being so sneaky. The friend's fiance was the only one who knew of their plans to come into town. So, on Halloween Andrew and Elisha boarded a plane headed for Oakland, CA. Elisha had had a Halloween party in her classroom and it was pajama day at school, so she was wearing fleece pants and a Halloween shirt. Once they arrived in Oakland and picked up their rental car, Andrew suggested that they drive out to Treasure Island, because Karly and John weren't going to be home for awhile. So, they took the trip out to Treasure Island where Andrew hugged Elisha and started talking about forever (which is normal for him) and Elisha just smiled and said,"well, forever is a really long time, but that sounds good." After a few more words like these, Andrew said, "Well, lets make it official." He turned around, got on one knee, and asked Elisha to marry him. Elisha said yes and hugged him for about five minutes. Eventually, the beautiful ring got placed on her finger. The funniest part of our proposal is that I had told Andrew that I didn't want to get engaged on a holiday. Trick or TREAT!
